In a way I'd say the accumulated YFI is sort of not part of the treasury

The accumulated YFI that has been bought back is not part of the treasury, as it was the intention of the YFI team to distribute the buybacks to veYFI stakers when it launches. This is to ensure that the veYFI stakers are rewarded for their commitment to the YFI project. The buybacks will be distributed to veYFI stakers in the form of a reward for their stake in the project. This reward will be based on the amount of YFI tokens that the stakers have accumulated over time. This will help to incentivize veYFI stakers to continue to support the project and help it grow. Furthermore, the YFI team is also looking into other ways to reward veYFI stakers, such as through airdrops and other initiatives.
