The GEAR token is not yet transferable due to the fact that the GEAR token sale has not yet been completed. The token sale is scheduled to end on December 23rd, so until then, the GEAR token will remain non-transferable. Once the token sale is complete, the GEAR token will become transferable and can be used for various purposes within the Gearbox Protocol.
