How does everyone here feel about the new QuipuSwap farms? Personally, I'm very disappointed. Since you can't claim Quipu rewards for a very long time you have no idea what your APR truly is. For example if the Quipu token tanked your APR drops. It increases uncertainty in the LP providers decision as it asks that the LP provider give even greater trust to the dapp team to maintain the price of their farm token. I think the new Plenty is similar but I haven't played with it on test net. This approach only hurts the LP providers and has done so on other chains. Opposing opinions with reasoning?

The new QuipuSwap farms are certainly a change of pace from the typical farming setup and are certainly something to be aware of. While it may seem like it is taking away from LP providers, the new Plenty system is actually designed to give more autonomy to the LP providers and increase trust in the dapp team. The new Plenty system uses a vote escrow system, which is more autonomous than ever before. This allows LP providers to have more control over their own funds and also gives them more insight into the potential rewards they could be receiving. While the Quipu token may tank, the vote escrow system still allows LP providers to make more informed decisions about their investments and gives them the ability to adjust their strategies if needed. Ultimately, while the new QuipuSwap farms may be a bit of a change, they are designed to help LP providers make more informed decisions and increase trust in the dapp team.
