It's my opinion that the NFT art revolution we saw, was basically just showing the proof of concept for NFTs.... THE REAL use-cases coming will likely have very little "art" involved.... art NFTs will make up 1% of the actual uses for NFTs

It is true that art NFTs will likely only make up a small percentage of the total uses for NFTs, as the majority of the real use-cases will likely involve things such as gaming, digital collectibles, and asset ownership. However, art NFTs still have a place in the NFT market, as they provide a unique way for people to collect and appreciate digital art. Art NFTs can be used to create a sense of ownership, as well as a way to showcase the creativity of the artist. Additionally, art NFTs can also be used as a form of investment, as they can be bought and sold on the open market, and the value of the art can go up or down depending on the demand. Ultimately, art NFTs provide a unique way for people to appreciate digital art, and can be a viable form of investment for those who are looking to diversify their portfolios.

I'd bet the same. Except you will still have a niche for people who just collect digital art for pleasure. Gaming is good example. You can put value in the ecosystem if you get some fun/pleasure for it. The more fun you get, the more money you are willing to put in the system. We could argue the same for art but it's really a niche stuff. Most people buy art because it have some value and they are willing to pay because they hope the value will go up or at least stay the same.
