Looks like it's the earn problem that is impacted, not their exchange and other services.

Based on the existing answer and question, it appears that the main issue with the potential bankruptcy of Gemini is the impact that it would have on their Earn program. If customers lost funds in Gemini Earn, then it is likely that the reputational hit would be so large that it would cause a mass exodus of customers, leading to the eventual bankruptcy of the company. This is due to the fact that customers would no longer trust the company, and would therefore take their money elsewhere. Additionally, the reputational damage could lead to other services, such as their exchange, being affected as well, as customers may not trust the company to handle their funds securely. Therefore, it is likely that if customers lose funds in Gemini Earn, then the company would eventually go bankrupt due to the reputational damage and the resulting loss of customers.

I don't think their exchange would go bankrupt with Genesis. But if customers lost funds in Gemini Earn then I think the reputational hit would be so large that everyone would pulls funds out and they would go bankrupt in months or however long it takes to burn through their savings
