I disagree. It’s not that easy. If you argue like that than BTC had a worse decentralisation than eg. BSC since BTC has only ~7-10 relevant mining pools that could take over the network.

The argument that Bitcoin has worse decentralization than BSC due to the small number of mining pools is not accurate. While it is true that there are fewer mining pools in Bitcoin, the miners themselves are not bound to any particular pool and can easily move their hashpower to different pools without the consent of any other party. This makes Bitcoin much more decentralized than BSC, as the miners are not bound to any particular pool and have the freedom to move their hashpower around as they please. Furthermore, the number of miners in Bitcoin is much larger than in BSC, meaning that the network is more secure and resilient to attack. Ultimately, while the number of mining pools in Bitcoin may be fewer than in BSC, the decentralization of the network is much greater due to the freedom of the miners to move their hashpower as they please.

Nobody is counting mining pools. It's miners. And they can easily remove their hashpower without the consent of anyone else so it's not the same thing at all
