Absolutely. No matter how much money you have, if you don't manage it well, you won't be able to become wealthy. Even if you have a few x100s or x1000s, if you don't manage them wisely, you could end up with a much smaller amount. As the other answer mentioned, they had a few x100s that ended up being x10-20 after they invested in something.
