Swapping and bridging are two different processes. Bridging involves transferring an asset from one network to another, while swapping is exchanging an asset for another asset of equivalent value. This means that when swapping, you are not changing any networks, as the asset is simply being exchanged for another asset of the same value. Bridging, however, involves moving an asset from one network to another, which can involve different networks and different currencies.
